This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engineering and energy infrastructure projects from inception to successful delivery. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project planning, execution, and financials, and ensure adherence to technical, contractual, and safety standards. The position requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to project recovery and risk mitigation. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. The role involves close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver impactful energy solutions on time and within budget. Accountabilities As a Project Manager, you will: Lead project teams, establishing execution approaches, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful handover and completion of all project goals. Coach and provide feedback to project staff, fostering professional growth and high performance. Contribute to continuous improvement of project policies, work instructions, and organizational project management practices. Lead project recovery efforts for troubled projects, quickly assessing and implementing turnaround strategies. Monitor project financials, invoicing, cost control, and cash flow to achieve defined financial targets. Manage project planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency. Ensure compliance with contract, claims, and procurement management procedures. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key escalation point. Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are rigorously followed. Candidates should have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited program. Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing Turnkey EPC Electrification, Generation, or renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Battery storage systems). PMP certification is required. Proven experience leading large-scale EPC projects including HVDC, interconnection substations, and transmission & distribution projects. Strong ability to develop business and maintain client relationships, leading proposal and pursuit efforts. Proficiency in project management tools, document control, scheduling, and cost management software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous consulting experience is preferred but not required.
