In this role, you will drive project management excellence across Medicaid growth initiatives, focusing on process improvement, organizational change, and cross-functional delivery. You will manage intermediate to large-scale projects, translating business goals into actionable plans while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This position emphasizes Agile project management practices, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication to deliver measurable results. You will work remotely with diverse teams, leveraging tools like Jira to coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and optimize workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on project execution. Accountabilities: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, communication plans, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project execution. Lead project teams in executing intermediate to large-scale initiatives with moderate cross-functional impact. Track project progress, identify potential obstacles, and propose actionable solutions to maintain project momentum. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, roles, and responsibilities. Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira) to coordinate tasks, monitor timelines, and manage resources efficiently. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Present project updates, progress reports, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders as required. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; at least one formal PM course required. 2–4 years of relevant work experience in project management, business, or engineering environments. Preferred: additional formal training in project management, PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile and Jira. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to anticipate challenges, present alternatives, and implement solutions effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead projects with cross-functional teams and moderate organizational impact.
