This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Manager – Java in the United States. As a Project Manager specializing in Java-based development, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of software projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams. You will ensure projects meet business objectives, maintain timelines, and stay within budget, all while fostering collaboration between developers, stakeholders, and clients. This role provides an opportunity to lead technical teams, guide project strategy, and contribute to the implementation of high-quality Java applications in a dynamic, results-oriented environment. Accountabilities: Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle for Java projects, from planning through delivery. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed project plans. Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project progress. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Java coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams when necessary. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing software development projects, with a focus on Java technologies. Strong understanding of Java architecture, frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), and software development methodologies. Proven project management skills, including Agile/Scrum expertise. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus. Experience managing distributed or remote development teams preferred. Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
