We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee innovation and human-centered design initiatives that aim to create measurable impact. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely execution through structured decision points while coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will guide project teams through lifecycle stages, deliver evaluation and research insights, and create communications materials tailored to different audiences, including leadership, end-users, and external partners. This position demands a strong ability to manage timelines, mitigate risks, and foster collaboration across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing communications-heavy initiatives in complex environments. Occasional travel may be required. Accountabilities Oversee assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with portfolio standards and timely delivery of milestones. Guide project teams through decision points and provide required evidence packages to support project progression. Develop and manage communications and engagement products for leadership, stakeholders, and end-users, including briefing decks, abstracts, and memos. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including communications specialists and designers, to ensure polished, accessible outputs. Track project timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain clear communication channels to ensure transparency and alignment across teams. Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred. Minimum of 4 years of project management experience. Proven ability to manage communications-intensive projects and deliver high-quality engagement materials. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Experience in stakeholder engagement, briefing senior leaders, and managing multi-track projects. Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., 508 compliance) and government communications practices is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear messaging for diverse audiences.
