This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Manager (Civil) Land Development in the United States. This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage land development projects from concept to completion, spanning both residential and commercial sectors. The Project Manager will lead engineering teams, coordinate with municipalities and reviewing agencies, and oversee site, utility, and landscape contractors. You will develop budgets, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with design, permitting, and regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes both technical expertise and strong client engagement, allowing you to shape high-impact development projects. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Accountabilities · Perform and supervise engineering work related to the design, permitting, and execution of land development projects. · Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers and CAD technicians, ensuring alignment with project goals. · Conduct due diligence, evaluate site conditions, and manage interactions with municipalities and regulatory agencies. · Oversee subcontractors, including public and private utilities, site contractors, and landscape teams. · Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and internal reporting. · Communicate effectively with clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met. · Scope projects, prepare proposals, and support internal knowledge sharing within the engineering team. · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. · 3–5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with an emphasis on land development projects. · Professional Engineering License in Indiana, or ability to obtain through reciprocity. · Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and data analysis skills. · Ability to manage time, solve complex problems, and work independently or collaboratively. · High ethical standards, commitment to self-development, and dedication to teamwork. · Preferred: experience managing both residential and commercial development projects, with familiarity in site engineering, permitting, and municipal coordination. · Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. · Profit-sharing opportunities. · Flexible work environment with hybrid or full-time office options. · Paid time off starting upon hire and renewed annually. · Recognition programs for outstanding performance. · Supportive, collaborative company culture recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana.
