This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Owner - Utilization Management in the United States. We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to drive digital product innovation in healthcare, focusing on cloud-based solutions and utilization management. In this role, you will translate complex business and clinical requirements into actionable technical solutions, manage product backlogs, and prioritize initiatives to ensure timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with IT, UI/UX, QA, and stakeholder teams to optimize workflows, validate solutions, and enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate combines healthcare domain expertise with strong Agile practices, project management skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful solutions that improve patient access and streamline healthcare operations in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment. Accountabilities • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy, technical requirements, and integration needs. • Define, document, and translate end-user needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, representing stakeholder needs throughout the development lifecycle. • Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and development teams to design, validate, and refine cloud-based applications and digital solutions. • Monitor KPIs, analyze user activity, and assess solution impact to inform pivots or feature enhancements. • Maintain system documentation, workflows, integration points, and support procedures. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, facilitating alignment and continuity across projects. • Drive project delivery on-time, on-budget, and within scope, ensuring accountability across all phases. • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably within healthcare. • Proven experience as a Product Owner for cloud-based applications. • Expertise in Utilization Management for Durable Medical Equipment (DME). • Familiarity with Essette is a strong plus. • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and facilitating Agile ceremonies. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver under tight deadlines. • Experience in creating comprehensive documentation, including user requirements, system workflows, and integration points. • Competitive annual salary ($110,000) with bonus program. • 401(k) retirement plan with company match. • Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage (location dependent). • Medical, vision, and dental benefits. • Paid Time Off (PTO), paid parental leave, sick time, and company holidays/floating holidays. • Quarterly company-sponsored events and health/wellness programs. • Career development opportunities and remote work flexibility. • Collaborative culture focused on teamwork, innovation, and community impact.
