This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Software Architect, ServiceTitan Infrastructure Platform in United States. We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the transformation of a large-scale cloud-based infrastructure platform. This role will define and execute the vision for distributed, highly available, and scalable service architectures while guiding multiple engineering teams across platform, SRE, operations, and tooling domains. You will be responsible for technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and hands-on contributions to critical system components. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, microservices, and distributed systems with strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills. This position will directly impact platform reliability, performance, and scalability, shaping the foundation for future growth. Accountabilities Define, own, and evolve the target state system architecture for distributed microservices and bounded contexts across platform and infrastructure layers. Serve as a key leader in the Technical Architecture Group, advising on shared technology decisions and aligning engineering teams around core architectural principles. Provide hands-on development for key components while guiding teams on design patterns, scalability, performance, and operational best practices. Collaborate with recruiting, interview candidates, and participate in technical candidate evaluation and lead generation activities. Represent technology vision externally and internally through presentations, tech talks, conferences, and executive briefings. Mentor engineers across the organization, providing guidance on architecture, system design, and professional growth. Participate in roadmap planning, resource allocation, and technical calibration to ensure successful delivery of large-scale initiatives. Review and advise platform and infrastructure teams on architecture and design to maintain high standards for scale, performance, and cost efficiency. BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; MS/PhD highly desirable from a top-tier university. 10+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise web or SaaS applications. Proven experience leading cloud transformations and migrating monolithic systems to highly available microservices. Deep expertise in Microsoft .NET (C# / ASP.NET MVC / Web APIs) or Java-based technology stacks, SQL databases, and modern development tools (Git, IDEs, JIRA). Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar), serverless computing, Kubernetes, distributed messaging systems (Kafka, Event Hubs, SQS), and data lakehouse architectures (Snowflake, Databricks Delta). Experience with API gateways, developer ecosystems, and large-scale 3rd-party integrations (Accounting, ERP, HRIS). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance/reliability monitoring (New Relic, DataDog), and logging/metrics analysis (ELK, Interana). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. High EQ with a demonstrated ability to build diverse, effective, and inclusive engineering teams. Ability to develop blueprint codebases and champion best practices across technical systems. Competitive salary range: $269,000 – $336,300 USD, plus annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
