As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and commercialization of a groundbreaking cardiovascular technology platform. You will define portfolio-level go-to-market strategies, evaluate emerging market opportunities, and align product innovation with customer needs. This role requires close collaboration with R&D, clinical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, while serving as a thought leader both internally and externally. You will guide research, competitive intelligence, and market validation initiatives, influencing decisions on investments and use cases. Accountabilities: Develop and refine the value proposition and overall portfolio strategy for a novel technology platform. Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams to identify potential applications and align innovation with market needs. Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for the technology internally and externally. Conduct market research including TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, customer discovery, competitive intelligence, and trend monitoring. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders. Prioritize use cases and investments based on strategic fit, market potential, and technical feasibility. Lead early market engagement to validate new opportunities and assess readiness. Take leadership roles on cross-functional project teams, driving accountability and achieving team goals. Perform financial modeling and forecasting for new product opportunities. 15+ years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or new technology marketing, preferably in cardiovascular medical technology. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus. Proven track record of bringing novel technologies to market, including early-stage market development. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, linking technical innovation to market opportunities. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with experience crafting messaging for technical and executive audiences. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. Experience conducting market analysis, competitive research, and customer engagement to inform portfolio strategy.
