We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role will focus on building interactive dashboards and reports from a Redshift data warehouse, enabling stakeholders to visualize and interpret multi-channel retail and operational data effectively. Working within an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate data, and deliver consistent, high-quality visualizations. Accountabilities: The Power BI Developer will ensure accurate, insightful, and accessible reporting for business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with stakeholder requirements. Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models to support analytics and KPI tracking. Transform and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and present findings in a clear, actionable manner. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across all reports and visualizations. Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and process workflows in Confluence and SharePoint. Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and enhance dashboard efficiency and usability. Candidates should possess strong technical and analytical skills, combined with business acumen: 2โ4 years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, or reporting roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or multi-channel environments. Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and performance optimization. Proficiency with DAX for advanced analytics and calculated measures. Experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation and backend processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and identify actionable insights. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel. Familiarity with Jira or similar agile project management tools. Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of data visualization best practices, dashboard design principles, and retail/multi-channel KPIs. Stakeholder management experience, including requirements gathering and expectation management. Adaptability and time management skills to handle multiple concurrent projects. Preferred Skills: SQL skills and experience with Redshift or relational databases. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Domo. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance. Familiarity with customer analytics, e-commerce KPIs, and conversion metrics.
