This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Peoplesoft Project Manager in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled Peoplesoft Project Manager to lead full lifecycle implementations of PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for public sector clients. This role offers an opportunity to oversee complex, grant-funded projects while guiding cross-functional teams through planning, configuration, testing, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You will act as a key liaison for stakeholders, mentor team members, and drive successful outcomes in a remote, collaborative environment. Accountabilities Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft implementation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Guide functional, technical, and change management teams, providing mentorship, direction, and performance feedback. Oversee system configuration, data migration, and integration between PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM modules and other legacy or third-party systems. Manage project risks, issues, and compliance, implementing mitigation strategies and ensuring adherence to federal regulations. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure successful user adoption through change management initiatives. Maintain project documentation, conduct status meetings, and prepare reports for all stakeholders. Must be a U.S. citizen. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of work experience with at least 7 years in project management roles. Minimum of 5 years managing full lifecycle PeopleSoft application implementations (v9.2 experience required), including FSCM modules. Experience working with public sector clients and grant-funded projects preferred (2+ years). PMP certification is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Advanced knowledge of MS Project and Excel, with the ability to manage budgets, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented, organized, self-managed, and capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Remote work with flexible options.
