This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a North America Legislation Content Specialist (Remote). In this role, you will act as a regional subject matter expert for US and Canada legislation within Global Editorial Operations. You will lead editorial analysis and oversee content workflows to ensure legislative datasets align with defined user needs and global product strategies. Your expertise in legislative frameworks, combined with AI fluency, will play a crucial role in modernizing workflows and integrating automation into the process. \n Accountabilities Act as the primary SME for legislation across North America and Canada, maintaining deep knowledge of local frameworks. Advise on authoritative sources, acquisition models, and completeness requirements across multiple legislative projects. Define content acquisition requirements to ensure reliable source coverage aligned with global standards. Provide guidance on conversion rules, data modelling, and publication workflows to meet user needs. Develop and implement a content strategy for each jurisdiction, aligning with customer and commercial priorities. Identify new legislative opportunities to strengthen market competitiveness. Translate legislative and editorial requirements into actionable backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead the definition of editorial requirements for CMSs and tooling to support legislative content. Produce high-quality editorial effort estimates for publication activities. Identify scope risks and communicate them to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with GTO, Product and Technology to optimize workflows. Test new tools and provide structured feedback. Coordinate editorial expertise across concurrent projects for consistency and accuracy. Lead agile ceremonies, articulating editorial requirements to various contributors. Manage cross-workstream dependencies from acquisition to publication. Requirements Law degree (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years' experience in legal research, editorial roles, or legislative content management. Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and apply methodologies in a content or technology environment. Demonstrated AI fluency and experience with AI tools and automation in editorial workflows. Strong understanding of legislative frameworks and processes in the specialist jurisdiction. Benefits Full-time, hybrid or homeworking position with global collaboration.
