This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer - .NET (C#) and React/JavaScript based in the United States. This is an opportunity for a mid-level full-stack engineer to contribute to a distributed engineering team building and maintaining modern software products. You will work across the application stack, developing backend services with .NET and C# alongside responsive frontend experiences using React and JavaScript. The role combines hands-on development with strong ownership of code quality, reliability, and technical decisions. You will also work with AI-assisted coding tools, reviewing and validating generated code to ensure it meets engineering standards. Your work will span feature development, testing, troubleshooting, production support, and peer collaboration. You will have the opportunity to learn new technologies while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. This role is well suited to a proactive developer who enjoys solving technical problems and taking ownership from implementation through delivery. \n Accountabilities: Build, enhance, and maintain full-stack features across a .NET/C# backend and React/JavaScript frontend. Design and implement reliable technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and other team members. Review, validate, test, and take ownership of code created with AI-assisted development tools, ensuring it meets quality, security, maintainability, and performance standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, contributing to incident response and effective resolution of technical problems. Develop automated and unit tests to maintain application reliability and prevent regressions. Participate actively in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating feedback into your own work. Work with REST APIs, SQL databases, version control systems, and other technologies supporting the application architecture. Communicate technical decisions, implementation approaches, trade-offs, and potential risks clearly to the broader engineering team. Continuously improve development practices by learning and applying new tools, techniques, and engineering approaches. Requirements: 4–6 years of professional full-stack software development experience. Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET Core fundamentals, including dependency injection, middleware, asynchronous programming, and async/await. Solid experience developing frontend applications with React, JavaScript, and modern frontend development patterns. Practical experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL databases. Proficiency with Git and modern version control practices. Familiarity with production software systems, monitoring platforms, debugging tools, and incident troubleshooting. Experience using AI-assisted coding workflows and the ability to critically review, validate, and improve AI-generated software code. Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and decisions clearly. Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to participate in peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and team discussions. Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver reliable results. Comfortable learning new technologies, tools, and development techniques as engineering needs evolve. Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus. Familiarity with Docker and containerization is desirable. Experience integrating external APIs or third-party services is an advantage.
