Drive supplier negotiations involving pricing, delivery, NDAs, and contractual matters as appropriate. Conduct supplier risk assessments for critical and unique components and monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality, and cost. Support make-versus-buy analysis and contribute to supplier and commodity roadmaps. Collaborate with Engineering to identify critical and long-lead components, inspection requirements, and purchasing requirements based on technical specifications. Apply value analysis and should-cost methodologies to build-to-print components. Maintain day-to-day relationships with critical and high-value suppliers, serving as a key contact for commercial matters. Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate material or supplier risks when necessary. Provide executive-level visibility into supply chain health, material readiness, constraints, and emerging risks across assigned programs.
