In this role, you will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining advanced healthcare integration solutions that enable seamless interoperability between electronic health record (EHR) systems. You will oversee the full lifecycle of integration projects, from design to implementation, ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards such as HL7, CCDA, FHIR, and REST APIs. This position combines technical leadership, project management, and hands-on problem-solving, while collaborating with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance integration solutions. Accountabilities: Lead and manage interoperability and integration projects in the healthcare domain, ensuring successful delivery and continuous improvement. Design, implement, and maintain robust integration solutions leveraging standards such as HL7, CCDA, FHIR, and REST APIs. Oversee vendor management, ensuring compliance with integration, security, and regulatory standards. Develop, maintain, and optimize monitoring dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with product owners, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate workflows and functional requirements into technical solutions. Proactively identify and resolve development blockers, ensuring timely and effective project execution. Promote technical excellence, mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. 10+ years of experience managing interoperability and integration projects within healthcare technology environments. Deep knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, CCDA, FHIR, REST APIs) and related integration technologies. Proven experience managing AWS Cloud infrastructure and implementing secure SFTP solutions. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or OncoEMR is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Mirth, Cloverleaf) and oncology data pipelines preferred. Familiarity with LLMs and modern AI-assisted solutions is an advantage.
