This role is responsible for leading a skilled integration team to design, develop, and maintain advanced healthcare data solutions. The Manager will oversee projects that ensure seamless interoperability across electronic health record systems, leveraging standards such as HL7, CCDA, FHIR, and REST APIs. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and vendor management skills to drive the timely delivery of integration projects. You will engage regularly with stakeholders, product owners, and partners to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions. The role also includes monitoring system performance, optimizing integration pipelines, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and security standards. Accountabilities: In this position, you will be responsible for: Leading and managing interoperability and integration projects within healthcare domains. Designing and implementing robust integration solutions using healthcare data standards. Managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with integration and regulatory standards. Developing, maintaining, and optimizing monitoring dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. Identifying development blockers and implementing proactive resolutions. Driving continuous improvement in integration processes and solution design. The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of experience managing interoperability and integration projects in healthcare. Strong expertise in healthcare data standards (HL7, CCDA, FHIR, REST APIs) and integration technologies. Experience managing AWS Cloud infrastructure to support and enhance integrations. Experience building and managing SFTP solutions via AWS. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage vendors, ensure adherence to integration standards, and oversee monitoring and alerting mechanisms for performance. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or OncoEMR. Proficiency with ETL tools like Mirth or Cloverleaf and supporting oncology data pipelines. Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced data integration technologies. Strong focus on innovative, scalable solution design and technical strategy. Proficiency in MS Office and cloud-native technologies.
