This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Key Account. The Manager will play a critical role in growing and managing our partner's Proficiency Testing (PT) business across key strategic accounts and distributors. This position emphasizes strengthening customer relationships, expanding market share, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve overall sales and business goals. Strong communication skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the clinical diagnostics market are essential for success in this role. \n Accountabilities Serve as the primary point of contact for PT programs across key accounts and strategic reference laboratory accounts. Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities with hospitals, laboratories, and reference facilities. Develop account-specific strategies to retain and expand relationships with existing customers. Manage key partnerships, ensuring alignment with sales goals, pricing strategy, and product positioning. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and smooth execution of orders. Provide voice-of-customer feedback to inform product enhancements and new product development. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in proficiency testing. Prepare and deliver detailed account reports, forecasts, and updates to senior leadership. Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products. Demonstrate the ability to deliver results within deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Business, or related field required. 5-7 years of successful account management or sales experience in the IVD, diagnostic, clinical laboratory, or life sciences industry. Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and management. Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts with revenue responsibility of $2M+. Strong understanding of molecular diagnostic technologies and quality control testing. Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, clinical laboratory operations, and infectious disease testing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization. Up to 50% global travel required. Benefits Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Sales Incentive Plan: 30%-40%.
