As a Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative, high-performance web applications that transform online shopping experiences. You will lead a team of engineers in building scalable solutions using modern cloud technologies and full-stack frameworks, collaborating closely with product managers and designers. You will work with a diverse technology stack, including front-end, back-end, databases, and cloud orchestration, while helping shape best practices and driving the adoption of emerging technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Accountabilities · Lead a portfolio of software development projects and mentor a team of developers in full-stack technologies and distributed systems. · Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences. · Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, and SQL, alongside open-source databases and cloud services. · Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to manage microservices and deployment pipelines. · Participate in technical innovation, staying current with emerging trends, and sharing knowledge within the engineering community. · Review code, establish best practices, and ensure high-quality software delivery through agile methodologies. · Lead technical discussions, problem-solving sessions, and design reviews to align development with business objectives. · Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. · Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience. · At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. · Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, or SQL. · Experience with open-source frameworks, containerized environments, and cloud-native architecture. · Leadership experience managing software engineering teams is preferred. · Knowledge of Agile practices and collaborative development methodologies. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support. · Competitive base salary: $175,800 – $200,700 annually (depending on location and experience). · Eligibility for performance-based incentives including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. · Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision). · Retirement savings plan with company match. · Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements including remote options. · Professional development opportunities, mentorship programs, and technical training. · Inclusive workplace culture emphasizing diversity and equal opportunity.
