About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Rental Operations Manager. In this role, you will drive the operational performance of rental shops, ensuring excellence in service, accurate inventory control, and adherence to safety practices. Your leadership will influence a team focused on enhancing guest experiences across multiple locations, while also managing partnerships with various internal stakeholders. This distance-based opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in the rental industry and utilize your skills to promote operational efficiency and team success. Responsibilities • Drive execution of operational standards in rental workflows and service recovery • Lead seasonal readiness and labor alignment initiatives • Conduct structured store visits for operational assessments and continuous improvement • Manage inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting and analysis • Oversee equipment movement and recovery plans to maximize asset usage • Ensure compliance with labeling and scanning standards across stores • Analyze KPIs to identify performance gaps and develop action plans • Coaching Store Managers to strengthen operational discipline and leadership • Support training program rollout for employee skill development • Promote a culture of operational excellence and communication Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 5 years of experience in the retail or rental industry • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Fluency in spoken and written English • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task • Prior supervisory experience is preferred • Familiarity with the rental industry is a plus Nice-to-haves • Prior supervisory experience • Familiarity with the rental industry Benefits • Ski/Mountain perks including free passes and discounts • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Employee Assistance Program • Excellent training and professional development opportunities • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans for eligible employees • Free ski passes for dependents • Critical Illness and Accident plans
