This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Data Analyst in the United States. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will lead data initiatives, collaborate with internal teams, and design custom reports that empower stakeholders to optimize performance. The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and leadership capability, allowing you to influence data-driven outcomes across multiple projects. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where your insights directly shape operational strategies and client-facing solutions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, mentoring colleagues, and applying advanced analytical methods to real-world challenges. Accountabilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of data processing scripts in R, Python, or SQL for complex analytical tasks. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to clarify requirements, address challenges, and develop tailored solutions. Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources, applying statistical and analytical techniques to extract actionable insights. Create clear visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to diverse audiences. Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices within the team. Balance workloads across multiple projects while maintaining data accuracy and integrity. 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or social science field; Master’s or PhD preferred. 5+ years of coding experience, with at least 4 years in R, Python, or SQL. Advanced knowledge of analytics, statistics, and BI software. 4+ years of project leadership experience with a proven ability to manage complex initiatives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders. Soft skills: intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, attention to detail, mentorship mentality, and willingness to test new approaches. Competitive annual salary range: $124,000 – $158,000 USD.
