This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Criminal Data Analyst (US Remote) in United States. This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the criminal and public records data strategy within a high-impact, fast-paced environment. The Lead Criminal Data Analyst will oversee data-driven initiatives, coordinating product roadmap execution and managing cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. The position involves analyzing large datasets, optimizing ETL processes, and guiding technical projects from conception to implementation. This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership, offering the chance to influence product direction and mentor junior analysts. Candidates should be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and able to drive improvements in complex data workflows while supporting business-critical decision-making. \n Accountabilities: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Lead ETL processes, data integration, and automation initiatives to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and algorithms for reporting, analytics, and product enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, and Product, to ensure alignment with the criminal data product roadmap. Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing best practices and fostering technical growth within the team. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner. Implement data validation, error handling, and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus. 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a mentoring or leadership capacity. Proven expertise in SQL, with ability to write and optimize complex queries. Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar tools for data manipulation and automation. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization platforms. Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipeline orchestration, and cloud-based data warehouses. Strong understanding of statistical methods, data modeling techniques, and data governance standards. Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
