The Business Analyst Specialist serves as a key liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and government clients, providing critical analysis to define and refine business requirements, processes, and solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring that business goals are articulated clearly and translated into actionable plans that meet contractual obligations. The Business Analyst Specialist plays a vital role throughout the lifecycle of government projects, including requirements gathering, solution analysis, and process optimization. Coordinates all project activities, including reviewing the current MIS, translating current MIS functionality into usable system requirements. Gathers and documents business needs and system requirements, performing a gap analysis of existing system documentation. Utilizes project management methodologies to develop a plan for the creation and documentation of business requirements for the existing WIC MOSAIC system. Provides support, direction, and guidance to team members in analyzing current systems and developing business requirements. Collaborates daily with team members to monitor progress, proactively identify issues, and report status. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 10 years of Business analysis experience, including requirements elicitation and documentation. 10 years of Project Management Framework experience. 10 years of knowledge of large-scale IT operations and information technology industry trends. 10 years of defining all types of requirements, functional specifications, and other deliverables. 10 years of interpersonal relationship skills, ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts. 10 years with the ability to create clear, complete, and actionable requirements documentation.
