This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead AI/DevOps Engineer in United States. As a Lead AI/DevOps Engineer, you will drive the design, deployment, and management of scalable AI and DevOps solutions that enhance enterprise operations and customer experience. You will lead initiatives to implement advanced AI infrastructures, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize cloud and on-prem environments, support AI proof-of-concept projects, and deliver innovative technical solutions to complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and lead technical teams, influence AI strategy, and contribute to impactful, high-visibility projects. Accountabilities Lead DevOps initiatives and manage AI infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments. Design, deploy, and orchestrate large language models and related AI services using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. Develop proof-of-concept AI solutions, including model context protocols (MCPs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows. Partner with security and governance teams to ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise policies, privacy, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to optimize cloud resources for scalable and cost-effective AI workloads. Engage with customer teams to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and provide technical support throughout the AI product lifecycle. Monitor emerging trends in AI and DevOps to inform strategy and identify opportunities for innovation. Mentor junior engineers and lead initiatives to improve team processes and technical capabilities. Proven experience with DevOps tools, including Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenShift Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. Strong programming skills in Python; GoLang is a plus. Expertise in deploying, managing, and scaling AI solutions and cloud-native applications. Experience with enterprise security, privacy compliance, and governance standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative AI workflows. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Customer-focused mindset, proactive in identifying challenges and delivering impactful solutions. Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in fast-paced environments.
