This role is pivotal in contributing to defense projects, particularly in supporting naval operations. Your expertise will help in improving communication and efficiency in submarine-related activities, ensuring that vital defense systems and processes are unified and optimized. This position offers an opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact while collaborating with a dynamic team to enhance military safety and defense capabilities. \n Accountabilities Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Configuration Management processes. Oversee shipbuilder change management processes and performance. Assist in problem resolution and process enhancements with the shipbuilder. Review and provide oversight for configuration management processes. Ensure accuracy of configuration management documents. Prepare and maintain project-related documentation. Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality expectations. Implement change reduction strategies within the project. Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or related field. 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering configuration management. In-depth understanding of configuration management principles. Experience creating and managing Technical Variance Documents (TVDs). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. Experience with DoD technical documentation standards.
