This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Vanta. We are currently looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer, Self Serve in United States. As a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Self-Serve team, you will build and maintain scalable, customer-facing features that directly enhance user engagement, adoption, and retention. You will work across the platform, creating reusable components and patterns that support both product trials and in-app integrations. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence technical direction while leveraging modern frameworks and AI tools. You will help deliver measurable value to customers while enabling the platform to scale efficiently, in a fast-growing, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Your work will impact both product functionality and the underlying infrastructure that powers the platform. Accountabilities · Design, develop, and own new product features and platform infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js. · Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals. · Define and implement technical direction for critical parts of the platform to support rapid growth. · Build reusable patterns and primitives to accelerate adoption and activation across product areas. · Contribute to in-app purchasing, trial workflows, and third-party integrations to streamline customer compliance and security workflows. · Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality, customer-facing solutions. · Support a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the engineering team. · 3+ years of fullstack software development experience. · Proficiency in modern web frameworks and languages, particularly TypeScript, React, and Node.js. · Passion for building high-visibility, customer-facing features with attention to detail. · Experience or interest in integrating AI tools into UI workflows. · Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities independently. · Interest in learning about security and compliance, or prior experience in security-focused software. · Preferred: experience with scalable SaaS platforms, trial/onboarding flows, or fintech/security applications. · Competitive cash compensation: $161K – $189K annually, plus equity. · 100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits, including dependents coverage. · 16 weeks fully-paid parental leave for all new parents. · Health & wellness and remote work stipends. · Family planning benefits through Carrot Fertility. · 401(k) plan with company match. · Flexible work hours and remote location options. · Open PTO policy and 11 paid US holidays. · Opportunities to work from offices in SF, NYC, Dublin, and Sydney.
