This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (Tools) in the United States. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and evolution of core software tools that enhance productivity, security, and user experience. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take ownership of key features throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and the broader open-source community. You will work on tools such as import/export functionality, credential generators, and secure sharing solutions, improving the overall efficiency and reliability of software products. This position emphasizes autonomy, hands-on development, and the ability to influence product direction while maintaining high standards of code quality. Accountabilities Become an expert in the full software stack, including backend infrastructure, APIs, database, web applications, browser extensions, and desktop clients. Participate in hands-on development of new features and enhancements. Conduct code reviews, share technical knowledge, and mentor team members. Independently plan, estimate, and deliver solutions of varying complexity. Contribute bug fixes and improvements from the user community. Focus on improving core tools, including import/export functionality, credential generators, and secure communication tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet user needs and maintain reliability. Experience with C#, TypeScript, Rust, and SQL. Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or TFS. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find and communicate solutions effectively. Collaborative and adaptable mindset with excellent communication skills. Enthusiasm for creating secure software and solving user challenges. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote environment. Nice-to-have: experience with SQL Server, Azure, Node.js, Electron, RabbitMQ, Angular, .NET Core, browser extensions, open-source contributions, and startup environments.
