This Full Stack Software Engineer will contribute to a long-term initiative focused on developing modern internal tools that optimize operational workflows and task execution. You will work across backend services, front-end interfaces, and mobile-integrated systems, with opportunities to implement machine learning and GenAI components. This role emphasizes clean architecture, scalability, and innovative solutions that enhance system performance. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java 21+ and clean, maintainable APIs. Build production-ready front-end interfaces using React, including responsive designs for mobile integration. Integrate machine learning and AI capabilities into workflows to automate processes and enhance performance. Work with Google Cloud Platform services, including Pub/Sub and Vertex AI, for cloud-native development. Ensure full-stack development adheres to best practices in architecture, performance, and maintainability. Utilize AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Gemini to improve efficiency and testing. Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews, and documentation. Participate in the long-term evolution of enterprise tools and operational systems. 4+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments. Proficiency in Java 21+ with experience in object modeling (JSON) and scalable backend architecture. 2+ years of hands-on front-end development using React (latest), building production-ready UIs. Experience designing responsive interfaces for mobile integration. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Pub/Sub, Vertex AI). Familiarity with machine learning projects and AI-enhanced development tools. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent delivery skills. Clear communication and collaboration skills in remote team settings. Must reside within the continental U.S. and work exclusively on this W-2 contract role. Nice-to-Have: Angular experience or additional backend engineering experience.
