This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Drupal Developer in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Drupal Developer to join a dynamic team supporting digital modernization projects. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal 10/11 applications, creating robust and scalable solutions that integrate with cloud services and modern web technologies. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment alongside UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists to deliver high-quality, accessible, and secure web solutions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects, optimize system performance, and apply best practices in frontend and backend development while advancing your expertise in federal IT initiatives. \n Accountabilities: Develop and enhance Drupal 10/11 modules, themes, and APIs for integration with cloud services and enterprise data systems. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Maintain technical documentation, track tasks in Jira, and document processes in Confluence. Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards, security requirements, and federal web standards (USWDS). Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend and frontend code for reliability and performance. Support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, staging, and production environments. Requirements: Candidates should bring extensive full stack development experience with Drupal and related technologies. Essential qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5–7 years of full stack development experience, including 3+ years with Drupal (9/10/11). Proficiency in PHP 8.x, Twig, Symfony, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Drupal core, custom modules, and themes. Experience with databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and query optimization. Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and Docker-based development. Understanding of security best practices, accessibility (WCAG 2.1/Section 508), and USWDS. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Federal IT project experience, AWS cloud services knowledge, and relevant professional certifications are a plus.
