This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and deliver high-performance web applications in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. You will lead efforts in application development, rapid prototyping, and the adoption of emerging technologies, ensuring scalable and secure solutions for complex customer environments. The position emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, standards development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor colleagues, provide demos, and support knowledge transfer to ensure adoption of best practices. The role blends creativity, technical expertise, and strategic vision, contributing to impactful solutions that enhance client operations. Accountabilities Design, plan, and develop secure, scalable web applications. Research emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate applicability. Define, create, and maintain technical standards and documentation for interoperability. Deliver demos, presentations, and training sessions to support knowledge transfer. Serve as a technical leader in solution design and development. Evaluate and integrate new technologies into customer solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster adoption of best practices. 6+ years of experience in web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks. 5+ years of experience with Vue.js. 4+ years of experience with FastAPI and Python. 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments. Strong knowledge of system architecture for scalable, high-performance applications. Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. U.S. residency for at least the past three years (required for Public Trust clearance). Ability to lead a small team and manage project responsibilities when needed. Experience with high-throughput, multi-node, load-balanced systems is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner or higher) are desirable. Annual salary range: $110,000 – $140,000. Flexible remote work arrangement with occasional on-site presence.
