This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Engineer I, II, or III (Wind) in United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of renewable energy projects across the U.S. As a Field Engineer, you will travel to various construction sites to inspect, monitor, and document activities, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will work closely with project management teams to identify and resolve challenges, maintain accurate records, and support the successful execution of wind and renewable energy projects. This position combines hands-on fieldwork with professional growth, providing exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure while collaborating with a dedicated team of industry professionals. Accountabilities: · Inspect and monitor construction activities, including roads, excavations, concrete, substations, and wind turbine installations, ensuring adherence to design and specifications. · Document daily work, resource usage, and quality control data through reports and construction management software. · Collaborate with site management to maintain QA/QC compliance and address deficiencies proactively. · Perform basic surveying, measurements, and calculations for structures and roadways. · Support operations and maintenance documentation and assist with material receiving and inventory. · Manage punch lists, production logs, and extra work authorization documentation. · Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a safe work environment. · Field Engineer I: High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant construction experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering preferred. · Field Engineer II: High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2 years of construction experience. · Field Engineer III: High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2–3 years of construction experience. · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, and specifications. · Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction software tools. · Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. · Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities. · Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods, typically 8–12 months per project. · Competitive annual salary depending on experience: Field Engineer I ($65,000–$70,000), II ($70,000–$80,000), III ($80,000–$90,000). · 401(k) plan with company match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). · Medical, dental, and vision insurance with dependent coverage. · Paid time off, paid holidays, and bereavement leave. · Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care. · Short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and voluntary supplemental coverage options. · Travel per diem and vehicle allowance while on project assignments.
