This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Expert Technical Program Manager - Remote in the United States. This role focuses on driving enterprise-wide Agile transformation and portfolio execution to maximize business outcomes. You will lead cross-functional delivery teams, implement Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices, and serve as a key advisor to executives, product, and engineering leaders. The environment is highly collaborative and fast-paced, providing opportunities to shape strategic initiatives, enhance organizational agility, and foster continuous improvement. You will establish and lead a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), coach teams, and ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and operational excellence. Success in this role directly impacts portfolio efficiency, predictability, and the delivery of enterprise outcomes. Accountabilities: · Establish and lead the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) to drive Agile transformation and enable delivery teams. · Embed Agile principles and Lean Portfolio Management practices across programs, aligning teams to enterprise strategy. · Operate and optimize LPM practices, including portfolio kanban management, funding models, and outcome-based reporting. · Own portfolio governance and performance, ensuring alignment between strategic themes, investments, and execution. · Lead portfolio ceremonies and decision-making forums to drive visibility, collaboration, and transparency. · Facilitate portfolio operations and communications with executives, business owners, and delivery teams. · Define and report portfolio-level metrics, tracking progress toward strategic objectives and performance targets. · Proactively manage enterprise-level dependencies, risks, and impediments impacting multiple value streams. · Partner with product, business, and finance leaders to prioritize investments, balance capacity, and optimize portfolio flow. · Champion operational excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement across program delivery. · Bachelor’s degree required; SAFe SPC or SPCP certification required (RTE, POPM, or equivalent preferred). · 8+ years as a Technical Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, or Lean Portfolio Manager leading cross-functional delivery. · 6+ years managing medium-to-large-scale Agile initiatives with complex technical dependencies. · Proven experience leading or establishing a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) or enterprise Agile transformation. · Expertise with Agile management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. · Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, modern software engineering practices, and DevOps principles. · Experience implementing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) within a SAFe environment. · Demonstrated success leading distributed or virtual teams in large-scale change programs. · Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences. · Strategic thinker with strong organizational change management capabilities and a passion for continuous improvement. · Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. · Flexible remote work options across the United States. · Health, dental, and vision insurance. · Retirement savings plan with employer contributions. · Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time off. · Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
