The Equipment Finance Operations Manager oversees the complete documentation and closing lifecycle for equipment finance transactions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex documentation challenges, optimize processes, and maintain high standards of legal and regulatory compliance. You will manage both standard and highly structured transactions, interpret legal documents, and provide discretionary judgment on risk, funding, and title-related matters. The position requires leadership capabilities, as you will coach and develop team members while coordinating workloads in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Your work directly impacts the organization’s financial operations, customer satisfaction, and overall business efficiency. \n Accountabilities: Manage the full documentation and closing process for equipment finance transactions, including complex and syndicated deals. Ensure all underwriting, pricing, and equipment approval conditions are met prior to closing; escalate issues as necessary. Interpret and develop commercial loan documents for collateral associated with equipment finance transactions. Identify and resolve potential risks, including fraud detection and lien position issues. Interface with customers, dealers, sales, credit, collections, accounting teams, and DMV agencies to ensure proper processing of titles and documentation. Prioritize workloads effectively to meet tight funding deadlines and fluctuating transaction volumes. Lead, train, and coach a team of associates to maximize performance, efficiency, and adherence to operational standards. Identify operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance workflow efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the lease, loan, or mortgage industries. Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus. Strong results-oriented work ethic with high initiative and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
