This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Strategy & Business Intelligence – Marketing Analytics in California. This role is responsible for leading advanced analytics and marketing insights to drive fan engagement, revenue growth, and marketing effectiveness within a high-profile, data-driven organization. The Director will leverage predictive modeling, segmentation, and marketing performance analysis to inform strategy across multiple initiatives. This position requires translating complex data into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data scientist with deep marketing analytics expertise, strong technical skills, and the ability to influence business decisions. The role operates at the intersection of data science and marketing impact, helping to optimize investments and accelerate organizational growth. \n Accountabilities: Apply advanced statistical and machine learning models to measure and predict marketing performance, including media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, churn, and LTV forecasting. Analyze fan and marketing data to uncover engagement trends and inform segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies. Build and refine predictive scores, fan attributes, and segmentation models for use across marketing campaigns. Design, execute, and analyze marketing experiments (A/B, multivariate, holdout tests) to evaluate campaign effectiveness. Develop dashboards and automated reports linking campaign performance, model outputs, and business KPIs. Partner with Data Engineering to operationalize analytics models into CRM and marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Braze, and Marketo. Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across marketing and analytics systems. Present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels, translating technical insights into actionable business recommendations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in data science, analytics, or marketing preferred. 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or business intelligence. Strong proficiency in SQL (AWS, Snowflake, MySQL) and Python. Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau). Deep understanding of CRM, paid media marketing, and marketing automation platforms. Proven experience in marketing analytics modeling techniques, including regression, clustering, MMM, MTA, uplift, and time-series forecasting. Knowledge of experimental design, causal inference, and operationalizing data science models into production workflows. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred: experience with data orchestration tools (DBT, Databricks, Airflow) and building scalable ML pipelines.
