Full Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Product Operations based in the United States. Lead the operational transformation of a growing product organization as it scales a technology platform for localized Connected TV advertising. As Director of Product Operations, you will turn product strategy into clear priorities, effective planning processes, and predictable delivery across multiple squads. You will manage and develop a team of product managers while partnering closely with engineering, design, go-to-market, and customer success teams. Your focus will be on improving execution, strengthening accountability, and creating consistent ways to measure product outcomes. You will also establish scalable processes for releases, support, and escalations without adding unnecessary complexity. This is an opportunity to shape how a remote-first, product-led business operates and grows. \n Accountabilities: You will own the operating model that enables the product organization to plan effectively, deliver consistently, and demonstrate measurable business impact. Your responsibilities will include: People leadership: Hire, coach, and develop product managers using a clear career-leveling framework, supporting their professional growth and improving team performance. Capacity and priority management: Partner with product leadership and lead product managers to translate strategic direction into squad priorities, ownership, and capacity decisions. Planning and delivery operations: Establish and manage planning cadences that align product work with company priorities while providing stakeholders with reliable visibility into roadmaps, releases, and delivery timelines. Product delivery standards: Define and maintain consistent practices for product specifications, quality assurance, release management, definitions of done, and outcome tracking. Outcome measurement: Build frameworks for tracking expected versus actual results at team and feature levels, using performance data to improve product decisions and demonstrate impact. Support and escalation management: Design and oversee clear processes for routing and resolving production issues, urgent requests, and escalations across product, engineering, and other teams. Operational improvement: Continuously refine planning, delivery, support, and communication processes through better tools, automation, and lightweight operating practices. Hands-on execution: Operate as a player-coach, stepping into operational or delivery challenges when necessary while strengthening the team's independent judgment and capabilities. Cross-functional collaboration: Represent product in company-wide planning and communications, working closely with engineering, design, go-to-market, customer success, and executive leadership. Organizational scalability: Ensure product operating practices evolve alongside business growth, improving coordination and predictability without slowing teams down or distracting product managers from customers. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader who combines people management, operational rigor, analytical thinking, and strong cross-functional communication. You should be comfortable improving both strategic planning and the day-to-day processes that keep a product organization running effectively. Key qualifications include: At least eight years of experience in product management or product operations. Four or more years of direct experience managing a team of product managers. A proven track record of building or improving product planning, delivery, and outcome-measurement processes, preferably in a fast-growing organization. Demonstrated experience hiring, coaching, developing, and establishing career levels for product managers. Experience managing support operations or escalation processes alongside roadmap planning and delivery. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work directly with data, dashboards, and performance metrics to identify trends and guide decisions. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to represent product effectively to engineering teams, go-to-market stakeholders, and company leadership. Experience establishing clear operating standards for product specifications, quality assurance, releases, and delivery accountability. A continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to introduce scalable processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Comfort working hands-on in a remote-first, asynchronous environment that values documentation, collaboration, and independent execution. Experience in advertising technology or complex B2B workflow products is an advantage but not required. Benefits: Compensation: Expected annual base salary of $175,000, with total compensation typically ranging from $190,000 to $205,000, including a quarterly bonus. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, geographic location, and other relevant factors. Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with 100% of employee premiums and 50% of dependent premiums covered. Remote work: Fully remote working environment. Remote work stipend: Financial support for remote working expenses. Flexible paid time off: Flexible PTO, allowing employees to take time off as needed. Monthly extended weekend: A three-day weekend each month. Coffee or tea subscription: Subscription benefit for coffee or tea. Growth opportunities: The opportunity to develop a product organization and influence how a growing technology business operates. \n How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
