This role is a hands-on, strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing finance, operations, HR, and legal functions within a high-growth, design-focused technology environment. The Director will work closely with executive leadership to build foundational business systems, streamline operations, and ensure smooth scaling of the organization. Oversee accounting, cash flow, bookkeeping, banking relationships, and financial compliance. Coordinate investor reporting, fundraising support, and board communications. Manage operations including manufacturing timelines, logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory systems. Build scalable processes and operational frameworks to support growth and product launches. Administer legal and compliance activities, including contracts, corporate governance, equity management, and risk mitigation. Support HR functions such as onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, hiring processes, and culture development. Requirements: 3–5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or a similar cross-functional leadership role; hardware or consumer product experience is a plus. Strong financial acumen with proficiency in modeling, analysis, and scenario planning. Proven ability to design and implement operational systems and processes from the ground up. Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills. Collaborative and ego-free, capable of supporting and elevating cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, able to switch between strategic discussions and detailed execution. Comfortable operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments and driving results independently.
