The Director of Compliance & Operations will oversee the full scope of trust operations while acting as the organization’s Compliance Officer. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, ensuring compliance with AML/BSA regulations and internal policies. The position requires developing and implementing efficient operational systems, leading and mentoring teams, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work, and will have the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable operational initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence organizational growth, operational excellence, and risk management practices. \n Accountabilities: Oversee all trust operations and administrative staff, providing leadership and guidance. Manage and implement technology solutions, including updates and staff training, and recommend improvements. Design, implement, and monitor compliance programs, internal audits, and AML/BSA procedures. Prepare for and participate in annual audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across operational processes. Analyze data to inform strategic decision-making and operational priorities. Support the execution of business strategies in alignment with organizational goals. Requirements: Candidates should have extensive experience in trust operations, compliance, and team leadership. Required qualifications include: Proven expertise in AML/BSA compliance and trust operations. Experience designing and implementing operational systems and process improvements. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and teams. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to function effectively in a high-paced, hybrid work environment.
