Our partner is looking for a Director Digital Marketing Services - SEO/Brand Visibility based in the United States. This high-impact leadership role will shape digital marketing, search visibility, and web strategy for a major healthcare organization. You will oversee public-facing digital experiences, ensuring they deliver consistent brand positioning, strong user experiences, and measurable business impact. A central focus will be evolving SEO beyond traditional search to encompass AI-powered search, large language models, and emerging discovery platforms. You will lead a team of digital marketing and SEO professionals while partnering with marketing, communications, content, creative, and digital engagement teams. With search responsible for the vast majority of website traffic, your work will directly influence digital reach, brand visibility, and consumer engagement. The role offers significant organizational visibility and the opportunity to shape how a leading healthcare organization adapts to the rapidly changing digital landscape. This is a fully remote, Monday-through-Friday leadership position requiring strategic vision, operational discipline, and strong people leadership. \n Accountabilities Direct the organization's digital activities, web strategy, and public-facing digital experiences in alignment with enterprise marketing and business objectives. Oversee the strategy, management, content, design, user experience, and discoverability of major public-facing websites. Lead the evolution of SEO and brand visibility strategies across traditional search engines such as Google and emerging AI-driven search technologies and LLM-based platforms. Manage and develop the SEO team, including analysts and associates, aligning their work with business priorities and service-line objectives. Develop innovative strategies to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, content discoverability, and brand visibility across evolving digital channels. Monitor SEO and web performance metrics, analyze traffic trends, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable improvements. Lead large, complex, mission-critical digital projects, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and on-time, on-budget delivery. Direct the deployment of digital capabilities across content, design, user experience, programming, and project management to support marketing initiatives. Evaluate incoming digital requests, establish priorities, assign resources, monitor performance, and ensure high-quality execution. Collaborate with marketing account services, corporate communications, content and creative teams, mobile and digital engagement teams, and other stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into effective digital experiences. Oversee the organization's digital asset library, including videos, images, and other content resources. Manage website content management systems and continuously improve user experience, accessibility, content organization, and discoverability. Provide digital services and strategic guidance for enterprise business and marketing initiatives. Report on program performance, progress, opportunities, and challenges while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives. Mentor and develop digital marketing professionals, fostering curiosity, learning agility, adaptability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Stay ahead of emerging search and digital marketing trends, identifying opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning and future-proof the digital strategy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital/Internet Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. At least 7 years of web-related experience, including 3 or more years of managerial experience and business-to-consumer marketing experience. Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, direct, manage, and maintain sophisticated digital and web presences. Proven leadership experience managing SEO or digital marketing teams, with experience formally managing teams of individual contributors; experience leading teams of 8 or more is preferred. Strong expertise in SEO, organic search strategy, brand visibility, content optimization, and digital discoverability. Experience optimizing content for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven platforms, including LLM-based search and discovery. Strong understanding of web technologies, current digital trends, content management systems, media development processes, and social media marketing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex digital strategies and performance insights to diverse stakeholders. Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize and deliver large, complex, mission-critical initiatives. Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity, adaptability, and ability to lead teams through rapidly changing digital and technology landscapes. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across marketing, communications, creative, technology, and business teams. Strong analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities, with the ability to use traffic, SEO, and performance data to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a highly visible, enterprise-level environment.
