This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DroneDeploy. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas (USA) . This role provides an exciting opportunity for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and streamline deployment processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including ML Ops, to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions. This position emphasizes automation, observability, and collaboration to support a high-performing platform. It is well-suited for individuals who enjoy solving complex problems, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to a culture of learning and innovation. You will have the chance to influence system architecture, enhance performance, and help shape the platform’s reliability and scalability. Accountabilities: • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure platform reliability and performance. • Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. • Collaborate with engineering teams to foster shared responsibility and effective communication. • Promote observability and monitor systems to anticipate and address potential issues. • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production incidents and support platform stability. • Contribute expertise while continuously learning new technologies and best practices. • Address support tickets and assist in maintaining operational excellence. • Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Experience developing and maintaining software applications, particularly in Python or Golang. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). • Skilled in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar tools. • Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration; Kubernetes experience is a plus. • Experience with Linux system administration. • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across distributed teams. • Remote-first work model with flexible scheduling options. • Competitive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans. • Paid family leave to support key life moments. • Opportunities for career growth, professional development, and continuous learning. • Flexible PTO and autonomy to manage personal time effectively. • Employee referral bonus program. • Drone certification opportunities and a culture of innovation and collaboration.
