This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Governance Analyst Lead in United States. In this role, you will lead the design, adoption, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks that ensure data integrity, quality, and usability. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data standards, influence strategic initiatives, and champion a data-centric culture across the organization. Acting as a subject-matter expert, you will guide stewardship efforts, develop policies, and drive the standardization of critical data assets. This leadership position requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to coach talent while overseeing high-impact governance and quality programs. Accountabilities: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources while advising cross-functional teams. Translate business requirements into technical specifications to support standardized data integration and define KPIs, governed elements, ownership, and security classifications. Lead data governance and stewardship initiatives, influencing departmental strategy and ensuring adoption of policies, naming conventions, and master data standards. Coach and mentor junior team members while autonomously managing strategic governance projects. Oversee education and training efforts for data stewardship practices across business groups and project teams. Facilitate cross-functional data definitions, drive standardization, and recommend data quality improvement opportunities. Create and monitor governance and stewardship metrics; perform additional related duties as needed. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Ten years of professional experience in data governance, data management, or related fields. Strong expertise in data policies, standards, metadata, data quality, and stewardship frameworks. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and influence strategy across teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and guide cross-functional initiatives. Paid parental leave for eligible team members.
