Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Python within cloud ecosystems such as Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into scalable engineering solutions. Develop and deploy data models, architecture, and reporting solutions in cloud platforms like Snowflake. Monitor pipeline performance and implement optimizations to ensure reliability and scalability across large datasets. Support data governance, version control, and metadata management practices to maintain high-quality, secure datasets. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainable and high-quality solutions. Research and propose new tools or methods to improve data engineering workflows and enhance automation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role. Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python. Solid understanding of data architecture, modeling, and pipeline design principles. Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) for remote work. Annual salary range: $80,400 - $134,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.
