This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architecture within a dynamic, cloud-based environment. The Data Engineer II will work closely with internal teams and external partners to integrate, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, delivering actionable insights that support critical business decisions. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines, data integration, and processing solutions. Analyze, model, and optimize complex datasets from internal and external sources. Implement auditing, error handling, query development, and testing for production-level code. Work with Azure components, including data functions and Synapse, to enhance data architecture. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering both technical and professional development. Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into high-quality solutions. Contribute to documentation, system design, and continuous improvement of data processes. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline. Minimum of 3 years of software development experience on secure, cloud-based platforms. Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, or similar scientific computing languages. Experience building production-level data pipelines, real-time applications, and automated testing. Proficiency with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, and Hadoop. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. Proven ability to deliver maintainable solutions and work effectively within a team.
