This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Business Analyst in the United States. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business operations and data, translating complex business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, expertise in data extraction and visualization, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your insights will directly impact business performance and growth. Accountabilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into technical specifications, data models, and actionable insights. Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets using SQL or other tools. Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in business performance. Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders to drive informed decision-making. Support data governance, quality assurance, and process documentation initiatives. Contribute to the design and optimization of workflows, systems, and business processes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data or business analysis roles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one or more BI tools. Understanding of databases, data modeling, and ETL concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable business terms. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred: Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages. Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or financial systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
