This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst in the United States. As a Data Analyst specializing in Power BI and modern data platforms, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards, interactive reports, and robust data models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions are aligned with business goals. The role requires expertise in SQL, DAX, and data modeling, along with the ability to optimize data architectures and ETL pipelines. You will support multiple departments, enhance reporting efficiency, and mentor junior analysts where needed. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment while contributing directly to the organization’s analytical capabilities and strategic initiatives. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to business leaders. Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns for high-performance reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accurate and consistent reporting outputs. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using modern data integration tools to consolidate multiple data sources. Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and KPI measurement to inform strategic decision-making. Implement data governance, security policies, and role-based access within reporting environments. Partner with IT and Data Engineering teams to enhance data accessibility, integration, and scalability. 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles. Proven hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI including Power Query, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Service. Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Advanced knowledge of DAX and data modeling for complex business scenarios. Understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data integration techniques. Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, or predictive modeling (preferred). Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse and SQL Server, and Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Data Lake). Experience in agile environments and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or DevOps (preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. Prior experience mentoring or leading junior analysts (preferred). Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
