This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead data initiatives that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will design, develop, and implement robust data models, flows, and reporting solutions to address complex business challenges. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will transform business requirements into actionable data insights and dashboards that support organizational growth. You will also mentor junior analysts, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations. Accountabilities: Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document data requirements for analytics and reporting solutions. Translate business needs into functional specifications for data systems and integration processes. Design and implement data models, data flows, and pipelines in partnership with IT and analytics teams. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making. Analyze data trends and patterns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows. Monitor data solutions for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with security and privacy regulations. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring best practices in data governance and quality. Communicate findings, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and senior management. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing analytics team. Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, data management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or computer programming. 2+ years of experience working with data management standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong knowledge of data governance, integration, quality, and master data management concepts. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation. Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, and API integrations. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implementing compliance controls. Knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and data architecture principles. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
