In this role, you will leverage large, integrated healthcare datasets to deliver actionable insights that directly influence business decisions and improve clinical outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and process optimization. The position requires expertise in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. You will also provide guidance to junior analysts, contribute to process enhancements, and support large-scale projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your work will have a direct impact on patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. Accountabilities: · Analyze complex healthcare datasets, including claims, provider, member, and encounter data, to identify trends and opportunities. · Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries, scripts, reports, and other analytical tools. · Conduct root-cause analysis and present findings with actionable recommendations to stakeholders. · Partner with business teams to gather requirements, validate results, and implement solutions. · Support process enhancements, automation initiatives, and large-scale projects with limited supervision. · Collaborate across functions to ensure insights are communicated effectively and drive business value. · Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts. · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. · 4+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management; healthcare analytics experience preferred. · Proficiency in SQL and querying languages; experience with Python or R preferred. · Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, including data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis. · Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI. · Familiarity with healthcare quality measures (HEDIS, NCQA, Medicare Star Rating System, QRS) is a plus. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Competitive salary: $68,700 – $123,700 per year. · Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays. · Flexible work arrangements, including fully remote opportunities. · Opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and mentorship. · Inclusive and diverse work environment focused on innovation and collaboration.
