This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst (Advisor) in United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage data analytics to improve healthcare outcomes for vulnerable populations. You will support a Population Health Management initiative by designing, developing, and maintaining databases, dashboards, and analytics that inform critical healthcare decisions. The position involves working with large datasets from claims, medical records, and electronic health records to generate actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes. This role combines technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and client-facing communication to make a tangible impact on population health. Remote work is supported, with a focus on the PST timezone. Accountabilities: Design, implement, and maintain complex databases while ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance. Develop dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and analytics to support healthcare initiatives and decision-making. Review and validate data requirements, documentation, and standards to meet client expectations. Apply data modeling techniques to optimize database structures for efficiency and scalability. Monitor and update data procedures to reflect evolving market and client needs. Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring database performance and accuracy. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members. Research client objectives and tailor data solutions to meet specific business needs. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding updates, discrepancies, and progress. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics processes and capabilities. 4+ years of experience in programming or data analysis. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools. Experience in data administration, repository management, and data warehousing standards. Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HEDIS, PHM, and Health Quality measures. Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting HEDIS or similar healthcare data. Familiarity with security software, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating technical issues. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
