This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud environments for enterprise clients. This role focuses on architecting solutions across Azure and AWS, optimizing performance and costs, and supporting complex client onboarding. You will collaborate with professional services, sales, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-focused, fast-paced environment, is proactive in problem-solving, and contributes to continuous improvement of cloud architectures and operational best practices. Accountabilities Build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS. Optimize performance and cost-efficiency across cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues. Support onboarding of large and complex clients by implementing tailored cloud solutions. Design and architect cloud-based solutions aligned with client needs and requirements. Serve as an escalation point for advanced cloud service issues. Maintain strong partnerships with vendors such as Microsoft and Amazon. Support pre-sales efforts by providing technical expertise. Conduct research and implement best practices in cloud architecture and management. Document solutions, processes, and implementations for internal and client use. Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of IT industry experience, or 8 years of overall IT experience with 2–4 years in relevant cloud technologies. Proficiency with Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of network and connectivity solutions, including VPNs and hybrid configurations. Proven ability to design, scope, and execute technical solutions tailored to client requirements. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for individual and team outcomes. Active cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) are highly desirable. Preferred: advanced infrastructure design experience, automation deployment, and Managed Services Provider (MSP) background. Experience in finance or alternative investment industries is a plus.
