This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Developer (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, SQL) in the United States. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights across the organization. You will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that enable strategic decision-making. Working with cross-functional teams, you will optimize data models, ensure high-quality analytics, and implement BI solutions that improve operational efficiency. Your expertise in tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, SQL, and dbt will be instrumental in delivering scalable, high-performance reporting solutions. This role offers an opportunity to influence data strategy, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive impactful business outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Accountabilities Develop and maintain interactive Tableau and ThoughtSpot dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business goals. Build and manage data models, tables, and views using tools like dbt and Snowflake. Collaborate with data architects and cross-functional teams to define and maintain the overall BI data architecture. Optimize dashboard performance through efficient data source connections, visual design, and query optimization. Follow the SDLC process, ensure proper naming standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation. Assist in creating data feeds, peer-review reports, and ensure data accuracy and validity. Conduct client/partner web-based trainings and field ongoing questions regarding data specifications. Stay current with evolving data specifications, tools, and best practices, maintaining a proactive and self-directed approach. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with business intelligence tools, systems analysis, or IT activities. Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL queries. Proficiency with BI technologies, including Tableau and ThoughtSpot. Experience developing and maintaining data views, models, and tables using dbt or equivalent tools. Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and maintain thorough documentation. Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Self-starter, responsive, and able to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency. Experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy data is preferred.
