Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders across mobile, business intelligence, marketing, and other teams. Extend and leverage existing services and platform capabilities where appropriate, avoiding unnecessary duplication and reinvention. Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows that improve engineering velocity while maintaining or improving quality. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for backend services outside standard working hours. Contribute to a culture of ownership, experimentation, continuous improvement, and data-informed decision-making. Demonstrated ability to build reliable, scalable backend services and contribute effectively to technical design and architecture discussions. Strong testing experience across unit, integration, and acceptance testing practices. Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work across engineering and non-engineering functions. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to quality, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement. Willingness and ability to thoughtfully incorporate AI tools and workflows into software development. Ability to demonstrate alignment with a collaborative, ownership-driven engineering culture. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required. Ability to travel quarterly for several days to a corporate office or designated company location. Experience with Go or similar backend programming languages is a plus. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code technologies is a plus. Experience with a major cloud platform, particularly Google Cloud Platform, is a plus. Exposure to A/B testing or experimentation platforms is a plus.
