As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, high-performance server-side applications that drive business functionality and user-facing experiences. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineering team members to design scalable web services, optimize database performance, and implement APIs that support seamless data exchange. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end applications using Node.js, Express, or similar technologies. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Develop and manage databases (SQL, MySQL), ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient performance. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support seamless client-server communication. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices. Proficiency in back-end development languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) or Python. Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, for deployment and application management. Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and MySQL. Experience with JSON and data interchange between server-side and client-side applications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
