This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Applications Engineer III (Windows Server Admin, IIS, Powershell) in Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage, maintain, and optimize server systems for enterprise clients in a fully remote environment. You will play a key role in ensuring system performance, reliability, and security across customer deployments while providing expert technical guidance. The position requires hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, IIS certificates, and networking fundamentals. You will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with internal teams, and directly support clients to enhance their operations. The role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in an after-hours or flexible schedule and enjoys solving technical challenges. Your contributions will directly impact system stability and client satisfaction across a range of enterprise applications. Accountabilities • Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server systems and associated software. • Perform remote installations, repairs, testing, and system upgrades for enterprise clients. • Monitor and approve operational quality and performance of customer systems. • Provide technical guidance and training to clients on system operation and maintenance. • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and clients, conveying feedback and recommendations. • Support ongoing application, network, and security operations, including servers, firewalls, routers, and Active Directory. • Document work, track issues, and collaborate across organizational lines to resolve complex problems efficiently. Requirements • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Windows Server Administrator. • Hands-on experience with IIS certificates and basic networking concepts. • Proficiency in troubleshooting server, network, and software issues. • Strong communication skills for collaboration with clients and internal teams. • Ability to work independently and manage after-hours or flexible shifts. • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus. • This position is not available for visa sponsorship.
